Hello, I'm Jelani!

I'm a design student from George Town, Grand Cayman.

I've got a soft spot for poster design, but I also like doing logos, book covers, illustrations, social media, and whatever feels fun! I like design that is simple, clean, communicative with a splash of colour. As of late, however, I’m trying to be more maximalist.

I’m skilled with (and a massive advocate for) Figma. I’m also learning to navigate InDesign (and the rest of the Adobe Suite) and Affinity.

When I'm not in class or designing, I like to listen to and make music, study language (my second major is Linguistics Studies!), write and read poetry, and be unreasonably bad at roguelite video games.
